Benito Cabrera is a timple performer, cultural promoter, and author of both melodies and lyrics, performed by various singers and musical groups. He is the composer of the official anthem of the Canary Islands. He has performed in the most important cities across Spain, as well as in 21 countries on various continents, in renowned venues such as the Konzerthaus in Berlin and Carnegie Hall in New York.
He is the author of several books and works on popular music, and has hosted numerous television programs and documentaries. He has also directed groups such as Los Sabandeños. He is currently involved in various projects and serves as the Director of the Timple House-Museum in Lanzarote.
