Speaker registration
The 5th CanArts International Meeting will take place on 2, 3 and 4 July 2027 in a hybrid format (on-site and online). The on-site venue is the Zona Joven Puntalarga Building, C/ Pasacola, s/n, Candelaria, Tenerife, Spain. Participation is free for speakers and audience members.
Registration and proposal submission
To take part as a speaker, you must register and then submit your proposal following the instructions in the relevant call. Registration and proposal submission are separate steps. The deadline for both is 14 February 2027. Everyone named as an author must register individually in accordance with the call guidelines.
Who can participate?
Creators and researchers in music, the arts and the sciences, as well as educators and teachers in music and other artistic disciplines, may submit proposals.
All contributions must focus on contemporary artistic creation of the 20th and 21st centuries, take an interdisciplinary approach, and explore the links between music and other arts, sciences or fields of knowledge. Proposals must relate to the CanArts 2027 thematic lines.
Submissions may address artists’ creative processes; research into music, the arts and their history; and studies or experiences in music education, arts management and cultural mediation. Depending on the call guidelines, they may take the form of projects, analyses, substantiated reflections or empirical research.

The outcome of the proposal evaluation will be communicated to participants on 31 March 2027.
