Music as a narrative and artistic language in film, video games and other audiovisual and interactive media, from the perspective of contemporary creation, research and pedagogy.
This is the specific thematic strand of the 4th edition, with special attention to creative, analytical and educational processes related to music in audiovisual and interactive contexts.
2. Compositional Procedures and Contemporary Artistic Practices
Languages, aesthetics, creative processes and analyses of sound and artistic phenomena in music and other arts, beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries.
This strand includes musical composition, interdisciplinary artistic creation, artistic research and pedagogical experiences linked to contemporary creation.
3. Contemporary Pedagogies, Research and the Transmission of Artistic Knowledge
Pedagogical models, artistic and musicological research, and innovative educational experiences for the teaching, learning and dissemination of contemporary music and the arts in different educational contexts.
It welcomes proposals that connect artistic practice, theoretical reflection and didactics from a current and interdisciplinary perspective.
4. Tradition, Cultural Heritage and New Artistic Paradigms
Musical tradition and cultural and artistic heritage as a basis for creation, research and the teaching of new contemporary practices from a critical, contextual and interdisciplinary perspective.
This strand addresses the relationship between memory, identity, heritage and contemporary creation in the 20th and 21st centuries.
5. Interdisciplinarity, Gender and Professional Contexts of Artistic Creation
Interdisciplinary perspectives, gender studies, arts management, production, mediation and professional contexts related to the creation, research and teaching of contemporary music and the arts.
It includes reflections and practices related to equality, diversity, sustainability and the professional frameworks of contemporary artistic activity.
