Submitting a proposal
Speaker registration and proposal submission: by 14 February 2027.

Technical guidelines for participants
Everyone listed as an author must register individually. Registration and proposal submission are separate steps.
Creators may present their work as an oral paper. Researchers may choose between an oral paper and a poster.
Interdisciplinary proposals may have one or several authors, but no more than two people may present them.
Each person or research group may submit up to two proposals.
Oral presentation length: 10 minutes.
Languages: Spanish and English.
The meeting is hybrid. Participants must choose on-site or online participation in the registration form.

Poster format
Researchers may present their work as a poster. They must register and submit their proposal by 14 February 2027, following the same instructions and supplying the documentation listed in this call. Indicate “poster” as the presentation format in the proposal.
Review results will be communicated on 31 March 2027. Accepted contributors must email the final poster to info@encuentrocanarts.com by 30 April 2027.
Prepare the poster as a single widescreen PowerPoint slide and export it as a PDF. Other presentation tools with an equivalent format may also be used.
The poster should summarise the work using short texts and visual resources, and include the title, authors, institution if applicable, objectives, methodology or approach, main findings or contributions, conclusions and key references.
The organisers will display the PDF by projection at the venue and screen sharing for the online audience. No printed copy is required.
Each poster will have an oral presentation of up to 3 minutes, either on-site or through a live online connection, according to the registration choice.
Sending the PDF in advance is mandatory for both formats. The schedule and presentation instructions will be communicated before the meeting.
Review and notification
Proposals will undergo non-blind peer review by members of the Scientific Selection Committee.
The review outcome will be communicated to participants on 31 March 2027.
Accepted proposals may be presented at the meeting under the conditions of this call.
Publication opportunity
After the meeting, contributions will be selected again for possible publication in a book. Acceptance of an oral paper or poster for the meeting does not automatically mean acceptance for publication.
Only unpublished material will be considered. Conditions and submission deadlines will be communicated to selected contributors.
