The book “Interdisciplinary Artistic Creation: Languages and Challenges of the 21st Century” (Dykinson), edited by Rosa María Díaz Mayo, Almudena González Brito, and María Candelaria Gil Fariña, will be presented on Friday, July 5, at 9:30 AM as part of CanArts, the II International Canarian Arts Meeting, 2024.
The authors involved in this title have a well-established career in their respective fields of creation and research, offering a blend of perspectives on musical and artistic phenomena. Interdisciplinarity in creation, with music as the backbone, provides unity to this publication, bringing us closer to an open concept of today’s art.
The editing and review process of this publication has been carried out through peer review, conducted by a team of researchers from the University of La Laguna, Tenerife, and the Autonomous University of Madrid, as a result of an agreement between the Candelaria City Council, the Department of Culture, and the University of La Laguna for the publication.
This is a collective work in which Rosa María Díaz Mayo, Almudena González Brito, and María Candelaria Gil Fariña served as editors, with contributions from authors Laura Vega Santana, Wade A. Matthews, Susana Moreno Soriano, Adolfo Jordán Ramos, Rubén Morales González, Jose Enrique Pérez Palomo, Francisco Javier González González, Iluminada Pérez Frutos, Ana María Díaz Pérez, Silvina Zicolillo, Silvina Zicolilo, Matias Giuliani, Damián Martín Marrero, Sofía García Alemán, Sara Ahmed González, Antonio Navarro Vega, and Iván Caramés Bohigas.
